After Darren Entwistle threw down the gauntlet and boldly declared that the TWU can " FIT IN OR FUCK OFF" with regards to his contracting out clause and off shore call centre plan, Steve put Darren's logo on a hat that became very popular on the picketline. |
| I met Steve and Cindy in Calgary. I was amazed to see such a strong line in Calgary. That was not what I was being told by Darren's propaganda machine. |
| Steve went on to Edmonton and the rest is history but
these two friendly former TELUS Employees were the first two in Edmonton to sport the new
FIFO Tel hat. The hat and slogan caught on and spread across B.C. and Alberta. Please note that FIFO Tel is in no way a criticism of TELUS. It was another famous Darren Entwistle quote demonstrating the changes that still need to occur within Corporations. |
