The RCMP X Files:

Things are getting out of hand. Darren Entwistle's Media manipulation is spilling over to the RCMP. On this site we will be documenting photos and statements where the RCMP have displayed biased unequal protection of the law. The Ken Birzneck story is but one example. Since the RCMP are jumping to false allegations of disturbing the peace, let's start taking photos of police officers. Today one officer who investigated the Kool Aid incident at the Boot didn't like me taking his picture for some reason. They didn't take the supporter away this time but we need to monitor it closely. We need the Constable's name and the file number of the incident. Collect statements from witnesses. Having observers from the public or other Unions is helpful but not necessary.
The problem is two fold. 1) TELUS and the AFI are submitting false reports to the police. At first, this statement is not believable. In time the truth will become clear. We need to document this and prove this for it to stop. In time, TELUS will lose their credibility and the Police will not be so quick to act on FALSE hearsay evidence. The other problem is 2) Conflict of interest. We need to do a public inquiry of the amount of money TELUS donates the the police's charities. Please forward a link to the last news report on this.
Some people argue that the police don't like getting their photo taken. I disagree. I always see pictures of the police on the TV series "To serve and protect." They show pictures of criminals with the theme song "Bad Boys" playing in the background with the intent to humiliate criminals which in my opinion is a good thing. They don't ask or have the criminal's permission to post their pictures. Usually they will blur the face put unless they are found guilty because people are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Even then they are still sometimes innocent. Ever seen the movie Hurricane based on the book Rubin "Hurricane" Carter?
Some people argue that it is illegal to post pictures of the police on the Internet without their permission. I disagree. Responding to the high rate of car theft, the Surrey RCMP started the bait car program which in my opinion is a very good thing. At www.baitcar.com the police post videos of car thieves in an attempt to publicly humiliate them which in my opinion is a good thing. There is a kid in my daughter's school who has been in and out of jail for car theft. I told her we should try and find the bait car video of him on baitcar.com and get them to play it at his school to show everyone how stupid stealing cars is. It turns out the kid found the video himself and put a link to it on his Nexus. Oh but wait, he is a minor and posting pictures of young offenders is illegal. That hasn't stopped them. Remember the Rodney King video?
My father used to be an elementary school principle and active member of his community in various volunteer capacities. He served in his church as well as on a board working with the prisons in B.C. helping find alternatives to rehabilitating convicts. I remember one of my father's campaigns that he used to write letters to the newspaper and elected officials about. In those days the Emergency Response Team used to wear balaclavas. My father argued that if a stranger enters his home with an automatic weapon wearing army fatigues and hiding his identity with a balaclava, he would have no way of knowing if that person was a police officer with a search warrant or a terrorist on a home invasion. His concern with the police hiding their identity was that it made them not accountable to the public for their actions. If they broke the law themselves, they could not be identified. I understand that emergency response teams here no longer wear balaclaves.

Hoop! There it is: TELUS donated $1.6 million to the Police and Fire Games
In Canada, not only do we have a Charter Right to Free Speech, we also have a right to equal protection of the law. That means a rich man gets the same protection as a poor man. Equal protection of the law is oblivious to race color or creed. If you are Union or not, if you are FBI or not - everyone has the right to equal protection of the law. This is not happening and we need to assert this right by refusing the Kool Aid and documenting incidents of false allegations.
